Now we all know that the kids are HUGE Smiley Cookie fans and so am I! When we were asked to review Smiley Halloween Cookies, you can imagine the excitement in the kids. Of course our cookies arrived in their signature keepsake box. (These are great for pictures or memory boxes.) Smiley Halloween Cookies are so colorful and look like huge Jack O Lanterns. Of course they are Smiley famous gourmet sugar cookies. I love how they use candy corn to accent the Jack O Lanterns eyes and nose. They are so moist and taste homemade. These cookies are sure to put smiles on your little witches, pumpkins and ghosts this Halloween.

Peanut Butter Cookies

Peanut Butter Cookies
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup peanut butter (I always add more)
Sugar (To sprinkle on top of the cookies before baking)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Stir in Peanut butter. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.  Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, and place onto ungreased cookie sheets. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden. Let stand on cookie sheet two minutes before removing to cool on wire racks.
