Did you know that Thursday, January 19th, 2012 is NATIONAL POPCORN DAY? It is, which means everyone should eat popcorn all day! I’m just kidding. But in honor of popcorn, I have a question for all of our readers . Do you have one kind of popcorn that is your absolute favorite? I am not the hugest fan of microwavable popcorn. I don’t like the smell of it when it cooks and I am always afraid that I will burn it and it will smell like a skunk in the house. A lot of already popped bag popcorn that you buy at the store tastes more like I am eating cotton dipped in artificial butter substance and have a chemically taste or leave a very undesirable film on the roof of my mouth. However, White Cheddar already popped pop corn is one of my favorites. I have a particular brand of popcorn that I am in love with though. I honestly forget that I am even eating popcorn when I am usually over indulging in it. Dale and Thomas Popcorn is a popcorn like no other! I have written about Dale and Thomas Popcorn twice now and have yet to find a flavor that I do not enjoy. Popsters are my favorite and always will be unless they can somehow make chocolate covered popcorn better than it already is! An extreme close second to the Popsters is Twice as Nice Chocolate Drizzle corn. Dale and Thomas have pair two wonderful chocolates, creamy milky chocolate and dreamy white chocolate and drizzled it over fluffy popcorn making the perfect combination. Dale and Thomas have over 20 different flavors and combinations of popcorn. This means I will never get bored and have added trying every flavor to my bucket list. Hey, what can I say I dream big! They have a full line of gift baskets and samplers perfect for every occasion possible. Even if you just want to surprise your favorite writer over at Kathleen’s Blog Spot….lol…OK I know just kidding! Let us know what your favorite popcorn is. We want to hear from our readers!!! So go on start commenting!

Turkey Talk e-Book Review

“Turkey Talk” is an 18 page ebook for kids. “Turkey Talk” was written by Leslie Nazarian and published by Lesruba Books. The book is an easy to read kids picture e-book about turkeys with a vegan/vegetarian Thanksgiving message about not eating turkeys. The book is full of extremely colorful pictures and fun interesting facts about turkeys. “Turkeys are best known for being the main course of Thanksgiving dinner. But learning more about these birds might make you think twice before eating them for supper.” My 5 year old who is learning to read loved how easy the book was to read and that it was the perfect length. She now walks around the house telling us turkey facts.

Easy Thanksgiving Dinner Ideas Ebook Review

This is our first year having Thanksgiving in our new home, as well as the first year that we will be hosting Thanksgiving. Traditionally my mom hosted Thanksgiving and we have always an amazing time. My mom did everything from making dinner and desserts to keeping everyone entertained. And for 28 years she did it perfectly! This year I wanted to give back to my mom and say thank you for all the years she made Thanksgiving dinner perfect for my brother sister and myself. I will be sticking to many of the traditions that she has over the years. Yams with marshmallows that every year she made just for me even though no one else really ate them. She always made sure that they were there. Our traditional favorites desserts, Pumpkin, Apple and Chocolate pudding pie.
